63 year old female who had undergone breast augmentation 10 years ago with McGhan textured silicone implants. She presented to Dr. Sajan with a grade 3 capsular contraction on the left. She had significant pain and disfigurement of her left breast. The left breast had a thick capsule around it and the breast was rotated up and out. Dr. Sajan performed a capsulectomy and replaced both implants with smooth round high profile cohesive gel silicone implants. Dr. the operation it was noted the patient had a rupture on her left side and that was the likely cause of the capsular contraction.
