Sara grew up in Vancouver, WA. She always had an interest in science growing up. This made her gravitate naturally towards the medical field as she got older. Throughout her life, Sara was exposed to the beauty industry–from her sister owning a spa to her own fascination with it. When she realized that she could help treat medical conditions through skin care and the cosmetic industry, Sara knew it was the perfect fit.
After graduating high school, she attended the Aveda Institute for her undergraduate learning. She worked for two years as a traditional esthetician in a spa and during that time worked her way up to manager. While she enjoyed this work, Sara had the drive to continue her education. She then went to the Washington Laser Institute to become a Master Esthetician.
Sara has served as a Master Esthetician for two years and functions as our Lead Master Esthetician. She finds her career rewarding because she finds personal fulfillment in her interests and in helping people look and feel better. Her career as a Master Esthetician bridges the gap between her love of science and beauty.
Sara is an animal lover. When not at work, you can often find her volunteering at the local Humane Society, spending time with her family, and hanging out with her fat cat.
